Everyone needs a best friend because we can't face every matter alone. We need a loyal, lovely person near us. A best friend will never let go of our hand. Having a best friend makes us feel like life is easy. Sometimes we need someone to listen to us with no judgements. With a best friend by your side, you're never alone. If we choose a friend as a best friend, we should think about it so much, because a best friend can take us to the success or unsuccess. 

In the Harry potter series "Harry Potter and Ron Weasley" Ron is a Iconic best friend in film. They face different challenges and matters together.

MIME.

Mime is like a silent art that uses and awakens the audience's imagination. It's a way of acting that tells stories without words. 

They create objects and environments on stage using mime techniques. The artist's body and movement become a canvas using mime techniques. Mime actor's body and faces to show emotions and actions, to tell stories. Someone say mime is overacting, Because mimes can do things that aren't possible in real life. Mime actors perform with white face makeup, simple clothes, and overacting facial expressions.  Mime is a special performance that can make people laugh, feel joyful, and think.

Crochet is a new trend in 2026. It's comfortable and stylish. It's Beauty makes blending handmade with high fashion. Crochet is like magic, where yard turns into beautiful creations using a hook.

We can all try to make crochet items easily. We need simple tools and materials like a hook, yarns, yarn needle, and scissors. As we crochet again and again, our ability and creativity grow, and we automatically make good quality crochet items. We can make crochet items and dress ourselves.

We can continue it as a hobby, but it's more than a hobby because crochet items have good value in the market. Crochet items are handmade, made with love and  care . Crochet is therapeutic, creative and totally awesome. 

PERFECT TIME TO BE US.

The home alone vibe is the best. The world outside doesn't matter. We can spend time in our own world.😎 

 Turn up the volume, play songs we love, singing songs like nobody's listening, dancing like nobody's watching and endless fun. Nobody's around, nobody's watching, we can spend time like we are only in this world, no judgement, no complaints, no disturbs. If you're a shy person, don't miss those moments. 

If we are hungry we cook something from the fridge, anything we like, or we can try new recipes or order some food. The city I like most

The city I love most is a city surrounded by mountains. It's a city where rain is a common thing, so it looks more beautiful when it rains. It's a place full of memories. Looking around, we can see traditional architecture. This city has many street in different directions like a cobweb.  At evening, the city's orange sky is filled with black birds, and we can hear the screams of thousands of birds.

There's a beautiful lake situated in the middle of the city, that lake provides evidence of beautiful love and painful separation. The lake round is a place full of lovely memories. Some months, the lake round is full of rebarosiya flowers, it seems like heaven. A city where elephants are often seen. 

The blessed city is located to the Temple of Tooth. It's lovely Kandy city.

 

Quiet haven

The library is a quiet haven, filled with shelves full of books and book lovers. We walk among shelves filled with books and smell the old book smell. We can't think which book to choose to read among those thousands of books.

 Some books are so old that they have pages like brown leaves. Soft, golden sunlight come through the windows and falls on the books, and book shining gold. Readers lost in the pages of books and people searching for books among the shelves can be seen. Books are filled with feelings and emotions. A good book can make up forget our matters. Also, books can take us to another world. 

Silence is important and best thing in this place. Only sounds we can hear are the sound of pages turned and the sound of steps.

Green vibe to our house

Humans are part of nature, so living with plants feels natural. Indoor plants help us live with nature. Indoor plants bring a touch of natural elegant look to our house.

 In a corner of the house is a plant corner with many plants. In hanging pots', beautiful heart shaped plant grows to touch the floor, in another corner snake plant stand tall. We don't think about it, but Indoor plants give us lots of healthy benefits. They improve air quality, reduce stress, and boost oxygen levels. They're easy to care and perfect to low light.

 Indoor plants give our house a green vibe. We can place them on shelves or hang them from ceiling and any room in our house.

SPENDING TIME WITH PAINTS.

Sometimes I do painting on my free days. I'm not an artist, any I'm not good at it, but I try my best. Spending time with paints is so interesting.🎨

 First, l find beautiful designs and painting ideas, and l try them. Step by step, l make a sketch with a pencil, and the brush using colours bring a beautiful painting to life on the canvas. Also, it automatically creates another painting on my hand. Colour combinations is the base of a good painting. It's make painting look wow!.

 Finally blank canvas turning to a simple, attractive, colorful painting. This kind of painting that I create, makes my room wall look like a small art gallery

.

Shining green eyes

Our cat's name is kaluu. Kaluu is black male cat. In the dark, it's black, soft, sleek fur blends with the shadows and Disappears. Its soft feel going away don't make any sound. We can see only it's shining green eyes like shining green gems.

 In the daytime, we can easily find kaluu because, its always near my brother. Its mood changes quickly like the weather. Sometimes it's a playful kitten, playing with a ball, chasing small animals like hunter. A little rain makes kaluu become lazy, just sleep, eat, and sleep. Sometimes he sleep with dream about rats. He likes cuddling with his owners. Our cat madly likes scratching behind the ear, the neck, on the head.

 On holiday, my brother is awoken by the nonstop "meow meow" alarm sound only when he wakes up and gives food to our cat or Carrie it.

BEST WAY TO TRAVEL.

Traveling by train is more comfortable and less tirde traveling by bus. when we travel by road, we pass through crowded, hot cities filled traffic smoke and building, but when we're going by train, it's different.

 The train going among trees, paddy fields, small villages, sometimes through tea estates, through hills, passing waterfalls, over rivers, sometimes near the beach. Train passing the small station with the train horn ringing "choo-choo". In the train there aren't conductors' shouting, nonstop horn sounds, and loud disturbing songs, we can travel calmly. 

Sometimes, short eats and boiled corn and chickpea sellers get on the train. The delicious smell of food makes us hungry. If a fun-loving group of tourists or friends get on our train, they play song  with guitars and dolki, making our journey more enjoyable.

NEW YEAR

Every New Year, our big family gathers at our grandparents' house. The house is  full of family, including 11 cousins, their parents, and our family 4 members. All under the one roof. 

Grandparents are very happy for their children and grandchildren came to visit them. We feel like we go to the sweet shop, because, Grandparents' house smell of different kinds of sweets made for us. The adults are busy with their talks. We spent time with Grandparents old stories and delicious food they gave us. We play games with cousins, laughing, and travel around the village, spending time with village fruits like guava and sugarcane. The special day is our annual "Aurudu Uthsavaya", it's full of New Year games, songs and fun. After that, all of us are go to the small river. We play in the cool water, but hearing the adults' scolding, we come back home with sad face. Then we're too busy sharing stories, secrets and drinking hot tea. At night, all of us make space, combining many meters  so, we can all sleep. We won't miss every little time we have to spend with our cousins. The New Year makes our relationships stronger.

A visit to the Wax museum at Ehelepola Walawwa

 Kandy wax museum.  

Ehelepola Walawwa is an old upper caste house, called "Walawwa", of Ehelepola Nillame. Now it is a wax museum.

The museum takes us to the old Kandy royal era. It represents Sri Lankan history and culture. There are wax statues of kings from the Kandyan kingdom, special persons , events and statues of Ehelepola Nillame, his wife Ehelepola Kumarihami and their children.

That museum represent old Kandyan traditional architecture. Those wax statues are amazing. Those statues are dressed in same tradition Kandyan costumes, royal costumes, and jewelers  If you like history, culture you should visit the wax museum in Kandy.

Coffee is a better solution to lots of questions, because it's a magic bean juice that makes everything okay, so coffee is a therapy. 

Coffee lovers day start with a warm, delicious cup of coffee. They enjoy every sip. It helps them start their day with happiness and energy. The smell of good coffee can improve our thoughts. Coffee is a sweet addition. Coffee lovers automatically find reason for the whole day to taste coffee. ☕😋

 Coffee has lost of tyres like espresso, latte, americano and moch etc. we can pick one that mach our taste and mood. Coffee also comes with flowers like cinnamon, cardamom, ginger and vanilla. Coffee is an art, if you're a coffee lover, you must agree.

The one who picked up from the garbage canal

I have a younger brother. We met him 17 years ago near a garbage canal.

Now we're the best siblings in the world, with no fighting , no blaming, and we're peaceful together. But, it's a big lie. We only behave like that when visitors are around. We always fight, and not fighting feels like not ate today.

Sometimes he is my side supporter in the kitchen, my instructor in digital drives, and sometimes older brother, and trusted friend. In the past, l won the flights, but it's totally different now because he's bigger than me and l need extra protection, so I use safe words like "mom, brother hit meeeee". We are totally different, he likes to hear rap music loudly, but I feel like I'm going to vomit. He's a cat lover, I'm a dog lover, because cats are haughty like him, and he love our cat more than me. He can't eat spicy food like a baby, but I'm a top spicy lover. Wherever he goes, he has lot of friends. I have only few friends, similar to the fingers on my hand. 

So what to do? Now I can't live Without that troublemaker and troubles.

HAVE YOU EVER FOUND A BOOK WITH MAGIC BETWEEN ITS PAGES?

We find various types of books in different authors, in different categories and different periods. Among Those books we find magical books Created by talented creators, Such books can give wings to our minds and life to everything.

Those books magic living among the pages. Such books are like a door to another world. As we go forward through the pages, we meet different characters and we connect with them. Those characters go through with us till the end through different happenings, barriers, troubles , sad and happy  moments. Sometimes special characters in those books they Steal our hearts and permanently stay in our heart . Those books from a bond with our minds , soul , imagination. we feel and imagine those characters facing different situations and moments, so we laugh , tears come to our eyes, we Sigh because we feel that like reality. 

End of the story is happy, we are happy at heart and feeling a victory we achieved , or that is a sad ending, we feel our heart is hurt like our heart is scratching with nails. Those kinds of magical books and characters that we love aren't erased in our hearts, they live in our hearts for a lifetime.  

                                                                

         

FLOWER GIFT - FOR A LIFETIME.

We received flowers from special people on special days in our lives, like Birthdays, special meetings, Valentine's Day, anniversaries, special moments and celebrations. Receiving flowers In such moments is lovely thing in our lives. Our hearts are filled with beauty and the soft fragrance of those flowers. We hug it, smell the flowers and capture moments with it. 

We put those lovely flowers in a vase and add water to it and spray water on them on them to keep them fresh, but the next day the flowers start to fade and the petals fall. Finally we don't like to throw away that memorable bunch of flowers, but sadly we have no choice.

 But you think like this. We received a flowering plant with flowers and buds, not a bunch of cut flowers. Yes, that flowering plant doesn't have as many flowers and beauty as a bunch of flowers, but the  next day, the flowers on the plant fade and the petals fall, but the plant gives us new flowers next day. That plant is with us for a lifetime, always blooming with flowers. The gifted plant with flowers and buds grows day after day and gives us lots of flowers. We see that plant with flowers and smell it's soft fragrance just like we felt that first day. It reminds us of the special people and special days and memories it was part of.

 

So I think a bunch of flowers that fades and finally thrown out is valuable, but a gifted plant with flowers that stays with us a lifetime is even more valuable.
